The AUTOCHARGE:EV EVTM0020 Token Mech is a heavy duty, hard wearing EV charging pedestal, specifically designed and manufactured for both commercial and public facing environments. This unit offers IEC 61851-1 Mode 3 fast charging through its 2 x 3.6kW (16A) type 2 sockets.This versatile, future-proof pedestal offers a simple pay-to-charge solution via its token payment system which allows the driver to pay for their charge by simply obtaining a token from the operator.The pedestal itself is easy to install and maintain and is surface or root mountable. It is is IP54 certified as well as being corrosion resistant and UV stabilised, making it a durable piece of equipment. The bodywork is manufactured from heavy duty 1.5mm steel and applied with 45-55 microns of zinc primer to help protect the unit against all the elements.The charging sockets on the EVTM0020 are securely protected when not in use thanks to the unit’s security hatchlocks. The switchgear and components are also found behind a lockable door for added security.This unit comes complete with a “charge time availability” display screen and a key switch operated charge time tariff configurator.
