The Draper 16423 is a a dedicated tool designed to make much easier work of removing or installing Generation 2 bearings, making it ideal for vehicle garages or workshops.The Generation 2 type of wheel bearing is largely fitted to Ford, Land Rover, Mazda, VW and Volvos and requires a specific tool to remove or replace, as a conventional bearing may suffer from rapid deterioration. This specialist installtion kit aims to avoid issues with installation and reduce failure rates in bearings.The Generation 2 kit is designed to correctly distrubute the pressing forces in the outer bearing, removing the potential for bearing failure, while at the same time allowing the suspension leg to remain in-situ when fitting new bearings. Included in this kit is a selection of tools enabling for installation on a wide range of models.
